Stockholm, Sweden - April 28, 2025 - Polymer Factory (publ) today announces the signing of a supply agreement with a global leader in high-performance scientific instruments and advanced analytical and diagnostic solutions. Under the agreement, Polymer Factory will deliver products from its patented SpheriCal® platform to be used as reference standards (Golden Standards) for LC-MS (Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry) applications.
LC-MS is a widely used and rapidly growing analytical technique across multiple sectors including environmental testing, clinical diagnostics, and pharmaceutical research and development. The global LC-MS market is projected to grow at a CAGR of approximately 10%, reaching an estimated market size of over SEK 100 billion by 2030.
Following a successful joint research and development project, the two companies have entered into this agreement to integrate SpheriCal® products into the partner company's commercial offerings.
The partnering company is a recognized leader in the mass spectrometry (LC-MS) market, offering instruments and related products used in LC-MS workflows worldwide. Under the terms of the agreement, the new reference standard product will be marketed and sold under the partner's brand, co-branded with Polymer Factory.
