As a key partner in the SELECT project, Pricer is focused on pioneering the development of batteryless electronic shelf labels (ESLs). By leveraging energy harvesting technologies, these ESLs are designed to operate without traditional batteries, drawing power from indoor ambient light. The SELECT project will focus on integrating various cutting-edge technologies, including ultra-low-power microcontrollers (ONiO), photovoltaics (Epishine), eco-friendly supercapacitors (Ligna Energy), and fully recyclable and biodegradable PCB laminates (Jiva Materials). The goal is to create a versatile platform that can be applied to a wide range of IoT and small electronics applications, starting with Pricer's ESLs and next-generation remote controls from 4MOD Technology.
