Pricer, the leading in-store automation and communication solutions provider, will showcase a raft of new innovations to optimize retailers' in-store communications and operations and unlock customer experience (CX) at the shelf-edge at the Retail Technology Show (RTS).

Taking place at ExCeL London on 02 & 03 April 2025, Pricer, exhibiting on booth G4, will be presenting its latest solutions to accelerate retailers' digital transformation in-store, whilst powering new future-forward capabilities within the connected store environment.

Pricer Plaza

Pricer's cloud-based platform, Plaza, supports retailers in managing store efficiency and customer engagement, from single store to entire estate, centrally with fluidity and ease. Offering complete scalable management to monitor and integrate digital in-store systems and connected store ecospheres, Pricer Plaza is now available on Google Cloud Marketplace.  The listing on Google Cloud Marketplace accelerates retailers' pricing automation and shelf-edge digitalization, delivering speed, scalability and security for retailers to power in-store efficiencies and drive enhanced CX.

"Bricks-and-mortar retailers know that success in turbulent market conditions - underscored with rising cost-bases across labor, rates and rents - means having to deliver nothing short of operational excellence within the store," Peter Ward, UK Country Manager at Pricer, commented. "Pricer Plaza puts that control and capability in their hands."

Pricer Avenue™ - awakening connected in-aisle experiences

A bold, new modular Electronic Shelf Label (ESL) system, Pricer Avenue™ redefines traditional aisle experiences, offering new ways for retailers to compose, build, run and merchandise the shelf-edge digitally.  Transforming the aisle into a connected and dynamic communication platform, the new solution helps retailers reimagine the shelf, powering greater operational efficiencies and enhancing seamless customer experiences in-store.

At the center of the Pricer Avenue™ system is a communication rail that combines power supply with data connectivity. Featuring new sleek and low-profile ESLs, the solution offers advanced modularity, allowing retailers to either display a singular label or connect several ESLs together to build `Floating Canvasses' of larger connected, digital displays, to more effectively merchandise the shelf-edge.

As well as delivering more agility and flexibility, the `snap-and-lock' labels feature best-in-class readability, perfect contrast and glare-free clarity that bring brand messages to life, delivering compelling and immersive story telling in-store. Available to view as a prototype and concept at RTS 2025, the solution pilots in-store in Q3 and will be shipment-ready by Q4 2025.

Bigger and better, SmartTAG Color gets a new look for 2025

New for 2025, Pricer's SmartTAG ESLs are now available in two larger formats to deliver bold, eye-catching messaging to captivate shoppers and drive engagement at the shelf-edge.  Available with 4.3"and 5.8" inch displays featuring Pricer's 4-colours, the larger format ESLs offer even more digital `real-estate' on the shelf, allowing retailers to deliver more product information, more detailed promotions, price comparisons and brand-rich media and content to elevate in-aisle experiences and drive conversions.

Pricer partnerships become a focal point at RTS 2025

Pricer will also be showcasing the power of its partner ecosystem on the stand at RTS.  This includes its new collaboration which integrates Focal Systems' AI-powered shelf vision cameras with Pricer's leading ESL platform, retailers will benefit from rapid replenishment, as well as delivering shelf-edge intelligence to support wider in-store analytics.

Pricer will also showcase its latest use cases with Retail Insight, the leading provider for store execution software, following work with joint-customer East of England Co-op to boost labour productivity, as well as its latest collaboration with Harris Retail across POS and Merchandising.

"ESLs have had their watershed moment," Magnus Larsson, CEO of Pricer, commented.  "Retailers now recognize that these technologies are no longer simple point solutions, but innovations that digitally `glue' the store together, creating a connected environment where efficiencies can be realized, in-aisle experiences improved, and ROI significantly increased.  With rising cost bases, retailers are searching for meaningful ways to improve key performance drivers, such as labor productivity.  Innovation powered and connected by ESLs allows them to transform their operations to achieve just this, without forgetting the central role customer experience delivery plays in long-term success."
