Stockholm, 15 December 2021 | Swedish fintech Safello (https://safello.com/) today announced it is expanding its support for cryptocurrencies to include Polygon and Polkadot. The news comes shortly after the successful launch of Chainlink that showed a spike in interest. Safello now offers five currencies: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Chainlink (LINK), Polygon (MATIC) and Polkadot (DOT). Safello is currently the only Swedish crypto company to offer direct investment in Polygon and Polkadot. Furthermore, Safello is the only Sweden based entry point to Polygon as the currency is not available as a certificate on the Swedish stock exchange.
As of today, users can buy and sell Polygon and Polkadot when logged in on desktop or in the mobile app. Users securely login with BankID, simply pay with Swish and store their crypto safely in the Safello wallet. All through a seamless user experience.
Polkadot today ranks nr 9 and has a market cap of 27 billion USD. Polkadot is built to connect private and public blockchains, oracles and future technologies. It facilitates an internet where independent blockchains can exchange information and transactions.
Polygon is the first well-structured platform developed for Ethereum scaling. It effectively transforms Ethereum into a full-fledged multi-chain system which can be described as an Internet of Blockchains. Polygon has a ranking of nr 15 with a market cap of 13 billion USD.

Polygon and Polkadot are available for buying, selling and storing in the Safello wallet when logged in on desktop or mobile. Deposits from and withdrawals for transfers to external wallets are not available at the moment.
