Scandinavian Astor Group AB (publ) ("Astor Group" or the " Company") announces today, March 5th 2026, that the board member Kristoffer Weywadt has announced at his own request that he will resign from Astor Group's board. The reason for this is that Kristoffer Weywadt has taken on a new position that does not allow for external commitments. His resignation will take effect on 13 March 2026. The Nomination Committee has proposed Wictor Billström as a new member of the Board of Directors. Notice of the Extraordinary General Meeting will be published in a separate press release.
"It has been a privilege to contribute to Astor Group's development during a period of strong growth and strategic change. The Company has built a robust platform for continued expansion, and I am confident that the Company will continue to deliver long-term shareholder value. Unfortunately, my new role does not allow me to have external commitments, and I must therefore leave the board", says Kristoffer Weywadt.
The Nomination Committee intends to propose Wictor Billström as a new member of the Board of Directors of Astor Group. The proposal will be considered at an extraordinary general meeting that the Company intends to convene shortly.
"I was previously a member of Astor's board when the company was listed on the stock exchange, and it has been a fantastic journey from the small company three years ago to today's Astor, which has established itself as one of the major defence actors in the Nordic region. It is a real privilege to be met every day by the competence and commitment that exists in our subsidiaries and their employees. I am now looking forward to continuing to work with Astor's success by returning to the board, which will give me the opportunity to drive and make an impact, so that together we can take Astor to yet another new level", says Wictor Billström.
