Scandinavian Astor Group AB (publ) ("Astor Group" or the "Company") announces today that the Company's CEO, Mattias Hjorth, has decided to resign from his position at his own request. Mattias will leave his role at the end of his notice period in October 2026, unless the Board decides on an earlier termination in connection with the recruitment of a successor. The process of recruiting a new CEO begins immediately.
"I believe the Company has the potential to grow much faster, particularly through a more proactive acquisition strategy. This requires a focus on value-creating activities at a faster pace. In light of this, I have decided to resign from my role", says Mattias Hjorth.
"We would like to thank Mattias Hjorth for his valuable contribution to the development of Astor Group. The Board's focus is now on ensuring a smooth transition and the continued implementation of the Company's strategy", says Mats R Karlsson, Chairman of the Board of Astor Group.
