She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island. Her extensive training includes a Rotating Internship in Medicine and Surgery at Garden State Veterinary Specialists in New Jersey, a Medical Oncology Internship at the University of Georgia, and a Residency in Medical Oncology at Louisiana State University.
