Smoltek Nanotech Holding AB (publ) ("Smoltek" or "the Company") publishes an interview with CEO Håkan Persson about the company's financial status, ongoing projects within Smoltek Semi and Smoltek Hydrogen and the company's strategy for the future. In the interview, which can be found on the company's IR blog, Håkan Persson tells, among other things, how the capital market has changed and that a faster route to income is now required.
Due to shareholders requesting more information, especially regarding the tender process that was communicated in May 2024, Håkan Persson has agreed to a longer interview in which he develops his view on the company's financing, ongoing projects and future strategy.
"A longer interview gives me the opportunity to describe both challenges and opportunities in a more nuanced way. It's about giving the shareholders a clearer picture of how we work to take the company forward in the changed market climate", Håkan Persson says.

"Investors today want to see concrete evidence that our technology works and has a clear path to commercialization before they invest capital. They require shorter 'time-to-revenue', which means we must show that we can go from development to market faster than ever before", Håkan Persson explains.
In order to adapt to the new market climate, Smoltek has carried out extensive efficiencies while keeping the core competence intact. The company today has a smaller but extremely competent organization that focuses on developing and commercializing the technology.
Despite the challenges, I am convinced of our strategy. Our discussions with some of the world's leading companies, both in the semiconductor and hydrogen sectors, show that there is a genuine interest in our technology, Håkan Persson says.
