Solstad Maritime ASA (SOMA) is pleased to announce that the Construction Support Vessel (CSV) Normand Ocean has been awarded a new very large contract* with DeepOcean AS.
The contract has a firm duration of three years, plus two yearly options, and is scheduled to commence in 1Q 2027.
26 June 2024, SOMA announced a five-year firm contract with Prysmian for the Normand Ocean. This contract will instead be covered by another CSV from the SOMA-fleet.
Both vessels will then have firm commitments from long-term Clients of Solstad into next decade.
*SOMA defines a very large contract as being between: USD 50 million and USD 100 million.
