Solstad Shipholding AS, a 100% owned subsidiary of Solstad Offshore ASA ("SOFF"), has today transferred 126,908,020 shares in Solstad Maritime ASA ("SOMA") to SOFF. The transfer was made in the form of a distribution of dividend in kind from Solstad Shipholding AS to its sole shareholder, SOFF. Solstad Shipholding AS' holding of shares in SOMA has thereby been reduced from 27.3% to 0%, and SOFF's direct holding of SOMA shares has increased from 0% to 27.3%; however, SOFF's direct and indirect holding of SOMA shares remains unchanged.

Solstad Shipholding AS and SOFF are both legal persons closely associated with primary insider and CEO in SOMA Lars Peder Solstad. SOFF is also closely associated with primary insiders in SOMA Frank Reite and Peder Sortland.
