Sound Dimension AB (publ): Sound Dimension Granted Key Patent in the US for its AiFi Technology
Sound Dimension AB (publ) announces today that the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has granted the company's patent application ("Issue Notification") regarding the AiFi technology. The patent represents a strategic milestone in protecting Sound Dimension's core technology for synchronized audio playback in the US market.
The patent protection in the US covers Sound Dimension's technology for automatic detection, role assignment, and adaptive audio optimization when multiple devices - such as smartphones, speakers, and TVs - play audio together in sync. By automatically adjusting audio parameters based on the performance of each individual device, a rich and spatial audio experience is created without the need for manual setup or hardware modifications.
Being granted a patent in the US significantly strengthens Sound Dimension's position during ongoing commercial dialogues with global streaming platforms and integrators. The US constitutes the world's largest and most valuable market for digital media and streaming services.
"The official approval from the USPTO is a confirmation of the high level of innovation in AiFi and a crucial step in our commercial strategy. The US is a key market for streaming services, and backed by a strongly granted patent, we enter contract negotiations with a completely different level of security for ourselves and our shareholders," says Rickard Riblom, CEO of Sound Dimension.
With this grant, Sound Dimension continues to build and strengthen its intellectual property rights (IPR) portfolio globally, which partly forms the foundation for the company's long-term value creation.
