SENS and the real estate group Aeonic have today signed a joint venture agreement. This strategic collaboration involves the formation of a jointly owned company, with a primary focus on identifying and securing suitable land areas for the establishment of solar and battery parks. Initially, the jointly owned company plans to enter into agreements for six to nine land areas for these purposes, with a timeframe extending from the fourth quarter of 2023 to the second quarter of 2024.

In recent months, SENS has intensified efforts to initiate several energy storage projects in Sweden. SENS is working on a long-term strategy to develop projects within the energy system into attractive investment opportunities, with a current focus on identifying land areas that can contribute to the future electricity system in the form of solar and battery parks.

Aeonic owns, develops, produces new properties, and conducts long-term management of properties and land in the Stockholm region, Mälardalen, and at university and college towns in Sweden. The business is conducted in-house as well as through joint ventures with property owners and collaborative partners.
