Specialty chemicals company Comindex has been appointed Svenska Aerogel's new distributor in Spain, Portugal, and Morocco. Svenska Aerogel and Comindex signed a letter of intent in 2021, but now the collaboration has been formalized with a distributor agreement. This new agreement will boost Svenska Aerogel's presence in these markets, focusing on thermal insulation paints and plasters. In countries where high temperatures are common, there is a strong demand for efficient heat insulation and reflective solutions. Svenska Aerogel believes that Quartzene[®]-infused products will play a significant role in meeting this demand.
Established in 1959, Comindex has a history of distributing groundbreaking specialty chemicals, offering customers innovative, reliable, and effective solutions by supporting their formulation with prime class technical consultancy. Headquartered in Barcelona, Comindex specializes in, among other areas, additives for the Building & Construction sector. Svenska Aerogel and Comindex are now strengthening their collaboration to increase awareness about the advantages of Quartzene® in thermal insulation paints and plasters. Products for heat insulation and reflection are ideal for use on facades and terraces in the Mediterranean region, where cool roof applications are particularly interesting due to the hot climate.
