LONDON: 21 September 2018 - The Marketing Group plc ("TMG" or the "Company"), which trades as RYVL, announces the following changes to the Company's Board of Directors with immediate effect.
Don Elgie (Non-executive Chairman), Glen Fraser (Non-executive Director) and Martin Blair (Non-executive Director), have all resigned from the Company and its Board of Directors to persue their other business interests. Adam Graham, currently the Company's Chief Executive Officer has assumed the responsibilities of Executive Chairman with immediate effect.
Paul Cottrell, who since April 2018 has been TMG's Group Financial Controller, has been appointed to the Company's Board of Directors as Chief Financial Officer ("CFO"). Alex Knight who previously held the role of CFO was not a Director of the Company. Paul is a Chartered Accountant and was previously Group Financial Controller for AIM quoted airline, Fastjet Plc, and prior to that RedSky IT Software Group. Paul has also held appointments as CFO of other privately owned trading companies.
Following these resignations and appointments the Board of the Company will comprise Adam Graham (Executive Chairman) and Paul Cottrell (CFO). Adam Graham has commenced a search for appropriate new non-excutive directors who have the skills and availability of time to help guide the Company through its next stage of development.
Adam Graham, Executive Chairman, commented: "It is with regret that we have accepted Don, Martin and Glen's resignations, but we respect their decisions to focus their time on other business interests.
