Vestas has received a firm and unconditional offshore order to deliver wind turbines for the first phase of RWE's Nordseecluster project in Germany. Vestas was selected as preferred supplier for the 1.6 GW cluster (first and second phase) in February 2023 (cf. Vestas News Release 28 February 2023), and the conditional contract for the two phases was signed on 17 May 2024 (cf. Vestas Company Announcement 09/2024).
