VibroSense Dynamics meets delegation from China's leading policy research institute

2026-09-04 12:30:00

On 31 August 2026, VibroSense Dynamics AB (publ) received a visit from the Institute of European Studies (IES) at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) - China's national policy research institute for European affairs. The delegation consisted of Professor Jia Ruixia and Professor He Zhigao, Head of the Department of European Politics. The visit reflects the international interest in VibroSense's technology and the company's commitment to the Chinese life science market.

IES was founded in 1981 and is China's national research institute for European studies, with activities in economics, politics, law, international relations and science and technology policy. CASS is one of China's most prominent state policy research institutions, with a broad network of contacts among European universities, think tanks and diplomatic institutions.

China is one of the world's largest diabetes markets, with an estimated 148 million people living with diabetes. Peripheral nerve damage caused by diabetes (peripheral neuropathy) is one of the most serious complications of the disease. Reliable diagnostics are essential in order to slow its progression. VibroSense Meter® II, which received Class II approval from the NMPA in China in June 2025, enables an objective and quantitative assessment of sensory nerve function. The instrument is therefore fully approved for sale on the Chinese market.

The discussions during the visit covered, among other things, the rapid increase in diabetes and the fact that current diagnostic methods are insufficient to safeguard foot health in all diabetes patients. Various opportunities for collaboration in medical technology and innovation were also discussed, as well as the potential for VibroSense's technology to reach Chinese healthcare institutions and patients.

"It was highly valuable to meet Professor Jia Ruixia and Professor He Zhigao and to have the opportunity to benefit from their knowledge and good advice regarding healthcare in China", says Toni Speidel, CEO of VibroSense Dynamics AB.

About VibroSense Dynamics AB (publ)

VibroSense Dynamics AB (publ) develops and sells medical devices and services for diagnostic support in cases of nerve damage in the hands and feet. The method involves measuring and quantifying the ability to perceive  vibrations at several frequencies applied to the skin. The company's customers are diabetes clinics, occupational health services, hospitals, primary care centres and researchers.

Our vision is for the company's products to become a standard instrument in all neurological examinations, so that early signs of changes in sensation can be detected and patients and their caregivers can take preventive measures that prevent, reduce or delay the onset of nerve damage in the hands and feet.
