edyoutec är ett svenskt bolag inom spel och digital utbildning som består av två vertikaler, EdTech och spel. Inom vertikalen EdTech fokuserar bolaget på att utveckla produkter inom genrer som spelbaserat lärande och Serious Games, det är inom dessa områden som edyoutec har identifierat de största synergierna mellan bolagets två vertikaler. Inom vertikalen Games bygger affärsidén på att utveckla och distribuera free-to-play-spel ("F2P") inom mobilspel för Android och iOS.

The project, led by the German Nexus Institute, explores tools for citizen participation in a playful way. Wegesrand receives a grant of 3,35 MSEK (289,914 EUR) and is responsible for the development of interactive, playful tools for the visualisation of information collected by the citizens of the city of Arnsberg (crowd sourced).

"TheaDiPolis" is an interdisciplinary project that brings together citizens, urban planners and artists to strengthen and rethink participatory urban planning in Arnsberg. Through interactive formats, including in theatres and public spaces, citizen participation projects collect the needs and visions of residents and make them accessible via a participation app and public interactive screens. This data is visualised in engaging and playful 3D models to encourage increased citizen participation in urban development.

The project is embedded in a research project of the Nexus Institute and the University of Lübeck (Germany). All tools and code libraries created are the subject of educational and interactive tools and products. In this way, the project contributes to the production pipeline of educational tools developed by Wegesrand.
