When the second stage of the Posthornet 1 property in the Sockerbruk area in central Lund is completed in 2026, one tenant will be HSB Skåne with a lease of 1,500 square metres. By moving to the newly built premises in central Lund, HSB Skåne aims to create a modern workplace with good collaboration conditions.
HSB is a member-owned cooperative organisation that builds, manages and lets housing. HSB Skåne is a regional association that operates in 17 municipalities with head offices in Lund and local offices in Eslöv, Ystad, Hässleholm and Kristianstad. The move will allow HSB Skåne to co-locate two of its three Lund offices. In the long term, the organisation also intends to co-locate certain functions, but will simultaneously retain its important local presence.
"We have been part of the development of housing in the Sockerbruk area from the start and now have a new major development in the neighbouring area of Västerbro. This makes moving to Posthornet, on the completion of the new premises in 2026, feel even more appropriate. Moreover, Posthornet's strategic location next to Lund Central Station supports sustainable commuting and also facilitates travel between the new office and our local offices by public transport. With both fixed and flexible workplaces, we are creating good conditions for even better collaboration in the new office," says Ann Irebo, CEO of HSB Skåne.
HSB Skåne will be leasing the third floor at Posthornet 1, which includes its own balcony. The move is taking place in the second quarter of 2026 and the lease is for five years.
The first phase of the office building was completed in 2018 and is fully let, with a mix of operations like those of Trivector, Klaravik, Skandia, Veidekke and Folktandvården. The Swedish Prosecution Authority has previously decided to move in to the second stage of Posthornet.
Over the last few years, Wihlborgs has actively participated in developing the Sockerbruk area with new construction, such as Sockerbiten (Raffinaderiet 5), which was completed in 2019, and the renovation of the hundred-year-old Raffinaderiet property (Raffinaderiet 3), which was completed in 2023.
