Wirtek has signed a contract with Port of Aalborg Real Estate for a large-scale project involving the remote reading of the port's electricity, water, and heating meters, along with individualised billing and energy management for each rental unit. This order strengthens Wirtek's focus on clean energy.

The contract was successfully secured following Wirtek's acquisition of the assets from Seluxit A/S. The scope of the contract is variable but is estimated to represent an initial value of up to DKK 2 million. Revenues beyond project implementation, in the form of recurring revenue from Wirtek's Cloud platform Wappsto, will contribute to future subscription-based income. Port of Aalborg Real Estate also plans to leverage the full range of opportunities offered by Wirtek's Wappsto platform as well as Wirtek's other service offerings.
Wirtek's solution is expected to optimize Port of Aalborg Real Estate's processes for billing tenants for electricity, water, and heating consumption, while improving energy efficiency across its buildings in the future. Implementation will begin immediately and is expected to continue through 2025. After successful implementation, additional orders are anticipated as the solution is rolled out further.
