Wirtek has acquired the assets from Seluxit A/S, a Danish IoT company that filed for bankruptcy on 26 June 2024.
Wirtek is focused on growing our business within clean energy, and Wirtek's Energy business unit grew revenue by 82% in Q1 2024 compared to Q1 2023. As part of this asset acquisition, Wirtek gains ownership of Seluxit's stable, scalable and secure IoT platform and EMS solution. This significantly broadens Wirtek's service offerings in the clean energy sector and allows Wirtek to scale the business with both products and licenses on top of Wirtek's existing IT services offering.
The acquired assets also include an EdTech solution based on Seluxit's IoT platform that is targeted the education of students.
Wirtek takes over Seluxit's client relations and will employ key Seluxit personnel to continue the delivery of Seluxit products and services without interruptions.
Further details about the acquisition of the Seluxit assets and its potential impact on the financial expectations of Wirtek will be published at a later date.
