We are proud to announce our new collaboration with VIVAVIS Portugal, the recently established branch of VIVAVIS, a German multinational with more than 10,000 customers worldwide across utilities, industry, and energy providers.

In 2025, VIVAVIS celebrates 50 years of innovation in energy and IT with the vision "IT meets ENERGY", delivering secure, efficient, and future-ready digital infrastructures for utility networks. Partnering with such a strong global player marks a significant milestone for Wirtek as we continue to expand our role in the energy sector.
This September, we launched our first project with VIVAVIS, focused on real-time communication for substations. We are performing the required testing of VIVAVIS's implementation of the IEC 61850 energy protocol, an international standard that defines how devices in electrical substations communicate with each other in real time. This protocol ensures that equipment from different manufacturers can work together, provides the reliability and speed needed to control and protect power systems, and supports the integration of modern digital technologies. Based on the modular ACOS 750, it is possible to set up highly flexible SAS systems for low, medium, high, and ultra-high voltage systems.
Our work is critical, as certification is both demanding and costly. By ensuring compliance from the outset, we help VIVAVIS avoid delays and additional expenses, while enabling them to confidently compete in public tenders.

This collaboration is not limited to a single project.
