YIT started several residential apartment building projects in Finland and the CEE countries in January-March 2021.
The largest projects started during the period were As Oy Espoon Haiku, As Oy Jyväskylän Taivaankansi, As Oy Helsingin Kaj, As Oy Helsingin Kuninkaankallio, As Oy Espoon Westend, As Oy Tampereen Näsintähystäjä, As Oy Helsingin Punakivi, As Oy Seinäjoen Vieno and the third stage of Küti in Kalamaja, Estonia.
The total value of the largest projects is nearly EUR 150 million. The start-ups of the apartments are booked in the order backlog of the first quarter of 2021.
Seven apartment buildings will be built in three stages in the Küti block in Kalamaja district. The third stage comprises nearly 60 apartments to be completed in autumn 2022.
As Oy Espoon Haiku is located in the Vermonniitty neighbourhood of Leppävaara district, within walking distance of the Sello shopping centre and close to the future Jokeri Light Rail line. The housing company comprises nearly 60 apartments to be completed in spring 2022.
As Oy Jyväskylän Taivaankansi is located in Äijälänranta, close to the shore of Lake Jyväsjärvi. It comprises just over 60 apartments, which will be completed in summer 2022.
As Oy Helsingin Kaj is the second residential building in the Arte block in the Arabianranta district, along Hämeentie. It comprises just over 40 apartments, which will be completed in summer 2022.
As Oy Helsingin Kuninkaankallio is located in Kuninkaantammi, in an area that is close to nature and has good transport connections. It comprises about 50 apartments, which will be completed in autumn 2022.
As Oy Espoon Westend is the first of five high-quality residential apartment buildings in the new central block in Westend. It comprises just over 30 apartments, which will be completed in late 2022.
As Oy Tampereen Näsintähystäjä is located in Ranta-Tampella. This project marks the start of construction on the final YIT Homes block in this residential district. This project will offer unique floor plans with fantastic views over Lake Näsijärvi. It comprises just over 40 apartments, which will be completed in autumn 2022.
As Oy Helsingin Punakivi is located in the district of Keski-Vuosaari, where a wide range of local services is only a stone's throw away. It comprises just under 40 units in terraced houses, which will be completed in autumn 2022.
As Oy Seinäjoen Vieno is located right in the heart of Seinäjoki, on Torikatu, close to services. It comprises about 80 apartments, which will be completed in early 2023.
