Endomines Finland Plc's operational update for January-December 2023: Pampalo gold production increased by 48.7 % compared to year 2022
Pampalo’s gold production in 2023 increased by 48,7 % compared to the production level in 2022. Production in 2023 was 397.8 kg (267.5 kg) which equals 12 790 oz (8601 oz) of gold. Production during July-December 2023 was 187.8 kg (159.4 kg) which equals 6 038 oz (5 123 oz) gold.
Published production figures are based on preliminary data. Final figures may slightly change after final analyses have been received from all the batches delivered to customers. However, the change is not expected to be significant.
“Our gold production volume increased exactly as our plan during July-December. We will commence production at Hosko deposit in early 2024, and for the last quarter of the year, we focused on the preparatory work in the area to ensure this will happen. We also carried out a significant drilling campaign below the current production levels at the underground mine and updated the mine’s mining method. We believe that these measures will bring production security for the years to come. Pampalo’s production forms the foundation of our business, and we will continue our activities to further increase production volumes to higher levels. The capacity of Pampalo processing plant still enables us to increase production without significant investments” says Kari Vyhtinen, CEO of the company.
