Inderes Student Coverage program's second season kicks off – looking for student teams from Finland and Sweden to analyze Inderes' share
Inderes Oyj, Press release, September 26, 2025, at 9:00 am
A unique opportunity to step into the shoes of an equity analyst
Inderes invites students from Finland and Sweden interested in equity investing to conduct equity research on Inderes' stock. Teams that pass the selection process will produce coverage open to all investors for one year. The compensation for the coverage is EUR 10,000.
The first Student Coverage program has been a success, generating significant interest among both investors and students. In the second season, the application process will also be extended to Sweden.
"Inderes was founded on the passion and desire of students to reform the equity research industry. Past year's experiment has shown how valuable it is to give young analysts the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities. Now we invite a new generation of equity analysts to challenge us again," comments Mikael Rautanen, CEO of Inderes.
Winners of the first year: "A unique learning experience"
In the first year, the program gave students a rare opportunity to get hands-on experience with real analyst work.
"The coverage has been a unique learning experience. During the journey, you learn a lot about the work of an analyst and interacting with the investment community. Discussions with the company's management provide valuable insight, and our own contribution is visible in every publication," say last year’s winners Sami Tuuri and Vilho Saarela.
As a tip for future applicants, Tuuri and Saarela encourage bold experimentation with one's own ideas and to view the journey first and foremost as a process of learning.
Full support and creative freedom
The selected teams will have access to the continuous support of the Inderes team, regular discussions with the company's management, and a platform for publishing the research through Inderes. The publication format is completely free, and creative thinking is encouraged.
"The Student Coverage program is also a kind of trainee program for Inderes' equity research. The research coverage and its visibility provide motivated students with the tools to advance to top jobs either at Inderes or in the industry," says Tuulikki Rautiainen, Head of People at Inderes.
Application and schedule
Registration for the program closes on November 30, 2025. Registration is not binding. Participating teams must submit their work by December 31, 2025. Public monitoring will begin with the publication of the initiation of coverage report, estimated to be in February 2026. Continuous coverage requires commenting on news flow relevant to the company's value creation for 12 months.
The program is open to all students in Finland and Sweden. A team can consist of 1–3 members. The jury selecting the teams will evaluate the independence, quality, and passion of the work.

An information session on program participation will be held on October 6 for all registered participants.
