Netum Group Plc: Netum Ltd's change negotiations concluded
Netum Group Plc’s subsidiary Netum Ltd has completed the change negotiations announced on 13 May 2025. The negotiations involved 235 people from all of the company’s business units, except for the Cyber Security Services unit, the Integration services team and the sales organisation.
Before the start of the negotiations, Netum estimated that any measures to be taken after the change negotiations may lead to laying off a maximum of 50 people and the termination of a maximum of 25 positions. In addition, Netum estimated that the possible permanent measures, if fully implemented, would result in annual savings of approximately EUR 1.9 million.
As a result of the negotiations, 37 persons will be laid off and the employment relationships of 24 persons will end. Regarding the layoffs, 15 are fixed-term and 22 are valid until further notice. On an annual basis, the personnel reductions mean permanent savings of EUR 1.9 million for the company.
"As the negotiations concerned a significant number of people and the savings targets were significant, it was important that the process and discussions took place in a transparent and fair manner and that the parties were listened to. We succeeded very well in this regard. Keeping the personnel informed about matters concerning them in general is very important to us, and we strive to invest heavily in this. We organised several information and discussion events for both management and employee representatives. The employees were given every opportunity to voice their views throughout the process and we were able to put together an appropriate change security package," says Netum Ltd’s chief shop steward Janne Vuorinen.

We were able to complete the difficult discussions according to an accelerated schedule in a very constructive atmosphere. All parties had a common understanding of the need for decisions.
