Changes in Solar Foods' Management Team
To support the execution of commercialization and go-to-market strategy the following changes have been made in the responsibilities and composition of the Management Team:
The position of Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) has been changed to Chief Strategy and Product Officer (CSPO). The position will combine the growth opportunities and plans with a tighter product alignment and its related strategy executions. The regulatory, product and application teams will report to CSPO. The position is part of the Management Team and is held by Troels Nørgaard.
The position of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) has been changed to Chief Sales Officer (CSO). The position will focus on sales execution, sales enablement, marketing execution and strategic customer relationship management. The global sales team will report to CSO. The position is part of the Management Team and is held by Juan Manuel Benitez Garcia.
The position of Chief Experience Officer (CXO), which is responsible for brand and communication, will no longer be part of Solar Foods’ Management Team but will continue to report directly to the Chief Executive Officer. The position of CXO is held by Laura Sinisalo.
As of 12 May 2025, Solar Foods’ Management Team consists of the following members:

- Juan Manuel Benitez-Garcia, Chief Sales Officer
- Troels Nørgaard, Chief Strategy and Product Officer
- Tiia Kuusimäki, Chief Operating Officer
- Petri Tervasmäki, Chief Technology Officer
- Juha-Pekka Pitkänen, Chief Scientific Officer
