Talenom's change negotiations have been concluded
As a result of the new strategy and the planned separation of the software business into its own company, Talenom Plc announced on 9 October 2024 that it will initiate change negotiations. The negotiations concerned around 180 people in Finland and were estimated to lead to the termination of up to 35 employment contracts. The company sought total annual savings of EUR 2-3 million in investments and direct costs with the reorganization.
As a result of the reorganization and change negotiations, Talenom expects to achieve savings of approximately EUR 2.3 million in 2025. The savings will mainly affect future software investments and improve cash flow. The change negotiations resulted in the termination of 21 permanent employment relationships, in addition to which fixed-term employment contracts will not be renewed and subcontracting will be reduced in phases in 2025.
One-off costs related to the change negotiations are estimated to total EUR 0.3 million, which will be recognized in the result of the fourth quarter of 2024.
