Janne Kuivalainen appointed Chief Technology Officer and member of Kempower Global Leadership Team
Kempower has appointed Janne Kuivalainen Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and member of Kempower Global Leadership Team effective October 2026. Janne Kuivalainen brings to Kempower extensive experience in global technology leadership, electrification, power electronics, and product development, with over 25 years of experience in international industrial environments.
Janne Kuivalainen joins Kempower from Danfoss Power Electronics and Drives, where he has served as CTO & Head of Technology, responsible for the strategic development of a global product portfolio, technology roadmap, and technology operations across multiple business divisions. In this role, he led international teams across several countries and drove major product portfolio and product platform strategy initiatives, including scaling software platform development capabilities and AI-driven engineering productivity.
Prior to this, he held the position of Senior Vice President, Global Product Management & Development at Danfoss Drives, where he led a sizable global R&D organization and was responsible for delivering next-generation product platforms. Earlier in his career, Kuivalainen held several senior leadership roles at ABB and Vacon.
