Lamor wins a EUR 12 million contract for comprehensive environmental protection service in Peru
Lamor has signed a three-year agreement worth EUR 12 million with a long-term customer for oil spill preparedness and response service in Peru. The order will be entered into Lamor’s order backlog during the third quarter of 2024.
Lamor will provide oil spill response equipment, oil spill vessels and an expert team including specialists, technicians and support personnel as a service. Provided resources will ensure effective preparedness and an immediate response in case of an environmental incident, hence protecting the environment at the customer’s location.
“The customer has identified Lamor as a unique high-standard provider of oil spill response services in South America and has chosen us as their partner in protecting the environment”, says Johan Grön, Lamor’s CEO. “Lamor has over forty years of experience in innovating oil spill response technologies and services, and this agreement highlights our capabilities in this field.”
Earlier this year, the same customer placed an order with Lamor for an on-demand oil spill response service, worth nearly EUR 2 million. Further in the summer, they placed an order for maritime surveillance and monitoring service worth over EUR 2 million.
