In reference to the notice made to market on the 26th of August regarding the conditional award received from European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) regarding lightweight RPAS (drone) services supporting pollution response and multipurpose maritime surveillance, with the contract value of up to EUR 7 million over 4 years.
The mandatory initial configuration test (ICT) for EMSA/OP/1/2020 has now been successfully completed with a live flight and the ICT report has now been submitted, all within the timeframe of the tender process. Nordic Unmanned has signed and submitted the contract provided by EMSA. The tender process grants EMSA the right to respond to the submitted report with their determination on signature of the framework contract.
Nordic Unmanned expects to receive the counter signed contract in October and to receive the first specific contract call-offs in Q4 2021, with revenue effect from Q4 2021.
