COPENHAGEN - September 3rd 2024 - 5th Planet Games A/S (OAX: 5PG) - 5th Planet
Games and Skybound Entertainment, known for blockbuster franchises The Walking
Dead and Invincible, is working on a video game set in the Invincible universe,
based off the comic by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, and also
the Prime Video adult animated series which has a perfect 100% Certified Fresh
Rotten Tomatoes score. The video game will be developed under the direction of
Skybound's internal studio made up of notable industry vets from Activision
Blizzard, EA, Amazon Games, and others alongside creator Robert Kirkman himself.
Commenting on the opportunity, Mark Stanger, CEO of 5th Planet Games observed
"in a relatively short time, Invincible has become one of the hottest properties
in global entertainment, and for 5th Planet Games to have the opportunity to
participate in the creation of a new game, being created by Skybound's in-house
studio is incredibly exciting"
