(Oslo, Norway - June 24, 2022) Airthings ASA today announces that it has become
a publicly listed company on the main list of the Oslo Stock Exchange (OSE)
under the ticker AIRX, with the first day of trading today, June 24, 2022.
"Airthings achieves another milestone today, joining the main list at the Oslo
Stock Exchange as a Norwegian-born, global leader in indoor air quality. We
believe this will enable us to access a broader base of international and
institutional investors and allow us to demonstrate our value proposition as the
global leading air quality company to a wider audience," says CEO Øyvind
Birkenes.
Airthings was started in Norway in 2008 by CERN scientists who saw an
opportunity in the consumer radon detection market. It has since grown into a
global leader in air quality monitoring for homes, buildings, and schools, and
was recently positioned as such by Frost & Sullivan, a leading global analyst
firm.
"We are empowering the world to breathe better through our unique air quality
products and solutions for homes and buildings. We are driving global awareness
of the importance of indoor air quality through market-leading products.
Supported by a megatrend of increasing regulations and continuous focus on
sustainability and health, we remain confident in our goal to reach USD 100
million in annual revenue by 2024," adds Birkenes.
Airthings has traded on the Euronext Growth trading platform in Oslo since
October 2020.
