The partnership will empower Airthings business customers with an all-in-one
solution to monitor air quality both outside and inside buildings

Oslo, Norway (3 June 2021) - Airthings, the global leader in indoor air quality
solutions and energy-saving technology, announced today that it has joined
forces with Airly, a cleantech startup that provides outdoor air quality data to
help tackle air pollution globally. Through the partnership, both Airly's and
Airthings' business customers will be able to expand their monitoring
capabilities to cover both outdoor and indoor environments-achieving a full
picture of their air quality in one single platform.

"By leveraging air quality data, Airthings is helping businesses around the
world improve energy efficiency in buildings while ensuring a healthy and
productive indoor environment," said Øyvind Birkenes, CEO of Airthings.
"Together with Airly, we go one step further by integrating outdoor sensors into
our existing IoT solution, allowing our customers to have an even greater
control of the air quality in their buildings through an all-in-one solution."

Both the outdoor and indoor air quality data will be available via the Airthings
dashboard and API. Building owners and facility managers can optimize
ventilation systems based on occupancy trends, environmental conditions outside
the building, and other live and historical data-cutting unnecessary energy
costs. At the same time, providing full visibility into real-time air quality
data gives tenants assurance about the indoor spaces where they spend time and
helps them plan their commutes and other outdoor activities, avoiding potential
air hazards, such as high levels of particulate matter (PM) pollution.

"We are very excited to partner with Airthings and to be able to offer our
customers an end-to-end solution to measure both outdoor and indoor air quality.
Such a synergy is something that the air quality monitoring market definitely
needs. We see the great potential of this cooperation and we are looking forward
to its effects," said CEO and co-founder of Airly Wiktor Warchalowski.

Air pollution is a well-known issue in cities around the world, but less has
been said about the effects of indoor air pollution. On average, people spend
90% of their time indoors where the air is 2 to 5 times more polluted than
outdoors. Without proper ventilation, we can be exposed to high levels of
pollutants over long periods, which can lead to serious health problems as well
as decreased productivity. Having a full picture of both indoor and outdoor air
quality is not only beneficial to our health but is also essential to optimize
ventilation and achieve maximum energy efficiency in a building.

A Solution for Any Building
Airthings for Business helps building managers make informed decisions using
around-the-clock indoor air quality data. Set up in a matter of minutes, the
wireless monitors run on long-lasting batteries, making the solution easily
scalable and customizable to any new or existing space. Through the partnership,
Airly's sensors will be integrated into the Airthings for Business solution
providing added value to existing and new customers. To learn more about
