15 September 2023: Aker BioMarine ASA ("Aker BioMarine" or "the company")
informs that its krill harvesting vessels have all returned to shipyard for
scheduled upgrades and maintenance.
Total volumes year to date of 2023 were 49,800 MT, which is at the same level as
the 49,500 MT produced in the same period last year. The vessels operated for
another week before going to shipyard last year, for a total catch of 50,100 MT
prior to shipyard.
The company expects the vessels to be back on fishing ground in Antarctica
during the second half of November 2023. Based on historical daily catch volumes
after shipyard, the company remains on track to deliver on a normalized
harvesting year.
