(Bergen, 29 June 2023) Bergen Carbon Solutions AS (BCS, OSE:BCS) today summons
for an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) for the election of Finn
Blydt-Svendsen, Chief Operations Officer (COO),  as a new member of the Board of
Directors. Blydt-Svendsen will step down as COO when elected director, and will
in addition continue to serve the company as a special advisor.

forward to continuing the collaboration from his new position as a board member.
Finn is one of the founders of Bergen Carbon Solutions and has been instrumental
in developing the company's groundbreaking technology. Bergen Carbon Solutions

company, and with Finn strengthening the Board of Directors we will further
leverage on the opportunities from providing clean carbon to the electrical
vehicle battery industry," says Jon André Løkke, Chairman of the Board of
Directors. 

Bergen Carbon Solutions summons the shareholders of the company to the
Extraordinary General Meeting at 21. July 2023 at 12:00 CET. The agenda for the
Extraordinary General Meeting is the election of Finn Blydt-Svendsen as a member
of the Board of Directors. The Extraordinary General Meeting will be held as a
digital meeting only with a deadline to submit proxy form votes 19. July 16:00
CET.

he will serve as a special advisor when elected to the Board of Directors.
