Asker, Norway, 3 July 2026
Cambi has signed an agreement with Celtic Anglian Water to supply parts and
ancillary equipment for the thermal hydrolysis process (THP) streams 1 and 2 at
the Ringsend wastewater treatment plant in Dublin, Ireland.
The project follows the comprehensive upgrade of Ringsend's THP stream 3,
completed in 2024, which increased the plant's overall throughput and
efficiency.
Streams 1 and 2 entered service in 2002, forming Cambi's first large-scale THP
installation globally, and are reaching the end of their life. Celtic Anglian
Water has decided to extend the operating life of the two streams.
Cambi's scope covers control system modernisation and the replacement of
ancillary equipment for the two THP streams.
The project is classified as a small contract by value for Cambi. Delivery will
be phased to maintain plant operations. The first stream is expected to be
completed in the summer of 2027, with the second stream completed by the end of
2027.
