Press Release
Oslo, Norway - 30 September 2022
CO2 Capsol has developed an easy and affordable way for large-scale CO2-emitters
to test and verify the effectiveness of the CompanyŽs Hot Potassium Carbonate
(HPC) technology on the clientŽs specific flue gas and processes, helping the
client to accelerate the decision processes towards a full-scale carbon capture
plant.
A CCapsolGoTM demonstration campaign is delivered as a service with a flexible
testing and validation program performed by an independent third party,
providing clients with valuable data and information on CO2 CapsolŽs HPC carbon
capture technology.
The first CapsolGoTM unit has been installed on time at OresundskraftŽs
Energy-from-Waste (EfW) power plant Filbornaverket (Helsingborg, Sweden) and is
currently in the last phase of commissioning. Operation with flue gas from
Filbornaverket with Hot Potassium Carbonate is expected within the first half of
October 2022. The unit is now generating positive cash flow.
Due to strong demand in the European market, as previously communicated, CO2
Capsol has invested in a second CapsolGoTM unit, with expected delivery in
December 2022. After the initial design and procurement phase, the workshop
construction has started on time.
About CapsolGoTM
o CapsolGoTM is offered on a rental basis, including a flexible testing and
validation program, by an independent third party.
o A standard CapsolGoTM demonstration campaign has a duration of four to six
months, and includes transportation, installation, operation, and testing
services.

About CO2 Capsol
Carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) is crucial to achieving net zero
emissions of greenhouse gases by 2050. CO2 CapsolŽs carbon capture technology is
an essential part in a successful clean energy transition. Carbon capture
contributes both to directly reducing emissions in critical economic sectors and
to remove CO2 from facilities such as Energy-from-Waste (WtE) and biomass power
plants - so-called negative CO2 emissions. Negative CO2 emissions will be
essential in compensating for hard to abate emission sources. CO2 Capsol is
proud to be part of the solution for a sustainable future.
CO2 Capsol has a very competitive technology protected by IP rights. The base
case revenue model is to license out patents. We negotiate directly with project
owners or participate by collaboration with industrial players.
CO2 Capsol is listed on Euronext Growth Oslo, Norway (ticker: CAPSL).
