Haugesund, 2 February 2024: Edda Wind ASA ("Edda Wind" or the "Company") has
previously reported challenges related to delivery of the gangway systems. The
first system came into operation in March 2023 and the company has now four of
the new systems in operation in the fleet. 

Edda Wind has experienced technical challenges with these systems which have
been dealt with during regular operation. To overcome this situation and ensure
that the systems are achieving the expected reliability and performance, Edda
Wind has decided to take two vessels out of operation to implement robust
solutions to the various issues. This will involve that Edda Breeze and Edda
Brint are taken out of operation until beginning of March 2024 to do repairs and
modifications of the gangway systems. Edda Passat will serve as substitute
vessel for Edda Breeze during this period. Other than loss of revenue Edda Wind
does not expect to incur significant capital expenditure in relation to the
upgrade.

Following these system upgrades, the vessels are expected to demonstrate
improved reliability and utilization. Similar system enhancements aimed at
improving reliability and utilization are also expected to be carried out on
other selected vessels in the Edda Wind fleet throughout 2024. The timing of
these upgrades will be strategically scheduled and is not expected to result in
many days offhire for the selected vessels.
