Reference is made to the stock exchange announcement made by Elkem ASA (the
"Company" or "Elkem") on 6 May 2026, regarding key information relating to a
contemplated subsequent offering of up to 11,111,111 new shares in the Company
raising gross proceeds of up to approximately NOK 300 million (the "Subsequent
Offering").

The shares in the Company will be traded exclusive of the right to participate
in the contemplated Subsequent Offering from and including today, 7 May 2026.
