18 March 2021 - Elop's AI business unit Simplifai has won another contract in
the insurance market, this time with Eika Forsikring AS.
 
Eika Forsikring is part of Eika Gruppen, which is a strategic alliance amongst
65 local Norwegian savings banks and Spørebanken Møre. 

Eika Forsikring receives approximately 300,000 customer e-mail enquiries each
year and an equal number of documents related to insurance claims within both
home, car, travel and other insurance products. 

Simplifai will provide its AI-powered Digital Employee technology to help
automate document management processes to reduce the time Eika's employees have
to spend on manual handling of documents. This will also reduce response time
for Eika's customers that await feedback on their insurance claims. 

"The complexity and large volumes of documents involved means that this is a
large and important contract for Simplifai. Eika Forsikring will utilise both
our Documentbot and Emailbot technologies. The successful application of these
solutions will open up many opportunities within the banking and insurance
sectors, both in Norway and internationally, where automated handling of emails
and other documents are required," says Bård Myrstad, VP of Simplifai. 

The contract is structured as an initial pilot project, with mutual objective of
entering a production setting, where Eika Forsikring will pay Simplifai an
undisclosed monthly fee for utilization of the Digital Employee AI solution. 

The project will be delivered in cooperation with Simplifai's partner, Knowit
Insight.
