SANDNES, Norway 5 June 2023 (EURONEXT: HRGI) present a new management team to
better support the organisation in reaching the company's goals and realising
projects together with our partners. 

Horisont Energi's goal is to accelerate the transition to a carbon neutral
future, building on our substantial knowledge base. Horisont Energi has carried
out considerable and valuable work over the last years within carbon capture and
storage, and clean ammonia (energy). 

The new management team will consist of the following: 
-	Bjørgulf Haukelidsæter Eidesen, Chief Executive Officer
-	Ståle Brattebø, Chief Operational Officer/Chief Technology Officer (new role)
-	Leiv Kallestad, Chief Financial Officer (new)
-	Frode A. Berntsen, Chief Legal Officer 

These changes will be effective from 5 June 2023.

projects, develop new carbon storage projects and corresponding partnerships,
and progress our carbon capture, transport and storage business and value chain
together with our partners," says Bjørgulf Haukelidsæter Eidesen, CEO of
Horisont Energi.

"With an experienced management team, well supported by very competent employees
and a solid financial position, we are in good shape to achieve the companies'
goals moving forward. I would like to welcome Leiv Kallestad as our new Chief
Financial Officer and thank Dan Jarle Flølo for all the good work he has put
into the company over the last four years. We appreciate that Dan Jarle Flolø
will continue supporting the company in an advisory role," says Haukelidsæter

Levi Kallestad comes from a position as a Chief Executive Officer at Optimarin,
where he has been an essential contributor to securing growth and establishing
an industrial platform for future-oriented businesses. He has held several
leading positions in leading industrial multinationals like ConocoPhillips and
ExxonMobil. He also has experience as business executive from scale-up companies
and has held several positions as Chief Financial Officer.

Ståle Brattebø has over 30 years of leadership, entrepreneur, and subsea
experience, from contractors and energy companies including and Poseidon group,
Siemens, Saga, and Aker Solutions. He has developed a start-up company from
beginning to exit, supported by private equity from management and board
positions. He brings subsea system engineering competence from all phases of
subsea projects.
