21 December 2023 - Rail Production AS, a subsidiary of Inin Group-owned Nordic
Infrastructure Group, has been awarded a contract to develop a new staging area
for trains at Grorud in Oslo, Norway.
The project aims to realize reception capacity for a total of 14 train sets in
the northern part of the Grorud Workshop facility.
Rail Production's scope involves railway technical work for superstructures,
signalling systems, electrical equipment and telecommunication systems. The bulk
of the work will be completed during the autumn of 2024 and the project must be
completed by April 2025. The contract value for Rail Production's work scope is
NOK 37 million, excluding options.
Rail Production will deliver the work as a subcontractor to Gjermundshaug
Anlegg. The end-client is Bane NOR Eiendom.
"This is the second NOK 37 million contract that Rail Production has won in
