M Vest Water AS (the “Company”) announces that the CEO, Mr. Stein Giljarhus, has informed the Board that after careful considerations, he has decided to step down from his position as CEO of the Company for retirement purposes and to spend more time with family.  
 
Mr. Stein Giljarhus will assist the Board in an advisory role during the transition phase until a new permanent CEO is in place.

MVW is a leader in the development of high-performance and environmentally friendly and natural solutions enabling zero discharge for water treatment in different sectors. I am proud of the technological and commercial achievements, documented by several leading industrial clients’ selection of MVW products, and now I think it’s a good time to bring in fresh leadership, where the focus will be on increased sales and implementation of our solutions,” says Mr. Stein Giljarhus. 

Mr. Stein Giljarhus, who joined MVW in 2019 as the CEO, has been instrumental in the development and growth of the Company. He also led the Company through the Euronext Growth Oslo listing process.

A recruitment process has been initiated to find a suitable successor. Until a permanent successor is in place, the Company's Chairman of Board, Mr. Tor Olav Gabrielsen, will take on further responsibilities as Executive Chairman of Board in the interim period.
