Oslo, 17 September 2025: Reference is made to the stock exchange announcements
published by NEXT Biometrics Group ASA (the "Company") on 16 September 2025
regarding the successful private placement to raise gross proceeds of
approximately NOK 20 million (the "Private Placement").

The Company hereby calls for an extraordinary general meeting to be held on 8
October 2025 at 10:00 (CEST) in connection with the Private Placement and
proposals for from the nomination committee in relation to the composition and
remuneration to the board of directors.

The notice of the general meeting, including the board of directors' proposed
resolutions and the attendance and proxy form, is attached to this announcement.


The general meeting will be held as a physical meeting at Stortorvet 7, 0155
Oslo, Norway. Shareholders are encouraged to vote electronically prior to the
meeting or grant an authorisation to the chairman (or the person he appoints).
