With reference to the communicated target of EBITDA adjusted break even for Q2
2024, NEXT Biometrics reports preliminary revenue figures of approximately NOK
18 million for the quarter.

Orders received in the quarter were at the expected level. However, several
orders were received late in the quarter, and a significant part of this could
not be fulfilled in time before June 30, and therefore, these orders have to be
booked in Q3.

Product gross margins in the quarter were record high, and operating expenses
remained stable.

The company expects to be profitable in the second half of 2024.

The Q2 financial report will be presented on August 20.
