(Oslo, Norway - February 5, 2025) Nordic Semiconductor ASA reported revenue of
USD 150 million for the fourth quarter 2024, an increase of 39% compared to the
fourth quarter last year and 5% below the previous quarter. Gross margin was 49%
in the fourth quarter, and EBITDA USD 9 million. 

The year-on-year improvement reflects a gradual recovery in the underlying
market, with the sequential decline from the third quarter following normal
seasonal demand patterns. Compared to the fourth quarter of 2023, Nordic
experienced year-over-year growth across both Short-range and Long-range and in
all end-user markets, with consumer electronics customers in the US and Asia
leading the gradual demand recovery.
  
Revenue for the full year 2024 declined by 6% to USD 511 million, with a
full-year EBITDA-loss of USD 5 million.

For the first quarter 2025, the company expects revenue of USD 140-160 million,
and a gross margin of around 50%.
  
-We expect the revenue recovery to continue also in the first quarter 2025, with
orders from individual customers set to offset  the seasonal slowdown we
normally would expect to see at the beginning of the year. Operationally, we
have seen our new nRF54 Series products being very well received, and we are
working hard to support high design activity, says CEO Vegard Wollan in Nordic
Semiconductor.
