Norse Atlantic sets new records in August with highest load factor, passenger
numbers and cargo volume carried to date. The month saw an average load factor
of 87 per cent, representing an increase of one percentage point (p.p.) year on
year. During August, Norse Atlantic had 191,291 passengers, representing an
increase of 26 per cent across 661 flights compared to a year earlier, including
11 charters operated during the month. Norse Atlantic completed 100 per cent of
scheduled flights in the month, while 78 per cent of flights arrived within 15
minutes of their scheduled arrival time.
"August has been a truly record-breaking month for Norse Atlantic, with our
highest-ever load factor, passenger numbers, and cargo volume carried since our
inception. These achievements are a powerful testament to our value for money
proposition and the dedication of our entire team. Additionally, by the end of
the month of August the airline had already sold more segments in 2024 than
across the entire year of 2023," said Bjorn Tore Larsen, CEO and Founder Norse
Atlantic.
