NORSE: Norse Atlantic Airways Completes Historic Charter Flight Between Norway and Darwin, Australia

Norse Atlantic Airways is proud to announce the successful completion of a
landmark flight between Norway and Darwin, Australia, chartered by Albastar S.A.
and brokered by Aircontact, Scandinavia's largest and leading air broker firm.
This milestone marks the first time that a nonstop flight from Norway to
Australia has taken place and highlights the efficiency of the state-of-the-art
Boeing 787-900 Dreamliner and the operational excellence of the Norse Atlantic
charter team.
Taking off at 0630 am on Saturday 3[rd] August from Oslo Gardermoen Airport and
landing at Darwin International Airport 0600 am on Sunday 4[th] August, the non
-stop flight covered approximately 14,730 kilometres with a flight time of 16.5
hours, showcasing the long-range performance and efficiency of the Boeing 787
-900. The Dreamliner is uniquely suited to such extended flights, offering
unparalleled passenger comfort, fuel efficiency, and environmental benefits.
