Plattsburgh, New York - April 15, 2025 - Norsk Titanium (Euronext: NTI, OTCQX:
NORSF) a global leader in additive manufacturing for aerospace-grade structural
titanium components using its patented Rapid Plasma Deposition® (RPD®)
technology, recently discussed the company's capacity and competence to support
critical US defense needs at Rapid + TCT.
On Thursday April 10th Nicholas Mayer presented Norsk Titanium's capability to
supplement the forging and casting industry using their globally leading Rapid
Plasma Deposition® (RPD®) technology at the Rapid + TCT industry conference in
Detroit, Michigan. Rapid + TCT is North America's largest additive manufacturing
and industrial 3D printing event, with more than 400 industry exhibitors.
"We were excited to present at the Rapid + TCT amidst signals from leading
aerospace industry players that see a significant increase in the use of
titanium parts manufactured with directed energy deposition (DED) technologies
like our RPD® technology. We have spent a decade qualifying our RPD® technology
and the first aerospace-grade structural titanium components, and are now in the
early stages of a very exciting operational and commercial ramp-up," says Nick
Mayer, Vice President Product Management for Norsk Titanium.
