Oslo, Norway, 23 August 2024: Today, Omda AS ("Omda"), a leading provider of
specialised software for healthcare and emergency response, published its
results for the second quarter of 2024.
Omda continues to benefit from its long-standing customer relationships and
posts revenue of 104 MNOK, of which 83 MNOK (80%) stems from recurring revenue.
The reported revenue and the EBITDA margin of 10% are at par with the Q2-23
results. Organic growth for the quarter was 5% in local currency, and 7% over
the last four quarters.
Omda CEO Sverre Flatby comments: "Stable organic growth and long-term recurring
revenue with minor churn continue to be predictable."
In Q2-24, Omda obtained Medical Device Regulation (MDR) certification.
"Our MDR certification, recognised as the highest standard in our industry,
reaffirms our position as the leading specialist software provider in our niche
markets," Flatby says.
Highlights from the report:
o Q2-24 total income 104 MNOK, at par with Q2-23
o Recurring revenue of 83 MNOK, accounting for 80% of total sales
o Reported EBITDA was 10 MNOK resulting in a 10% EBITDA margin
o YTD EBITDA margin increased from 8% to 12% compared to H1-23
o Q2-24 organic growth of 5% vs Q2-23 in local currency (4% in NOK)
o Gross margin increased to 93% (91%)
o Omda received Medical Device Regulation (MDR) certification
o Omda signed agreement to divest operations in the Philippines
